Dielectric properties of polymer materials at a high microwave frequency

Abstract

The dielectric properties of polymer materials at a high microwave frequency was studied. Epoxy resins and diagnose dielectric properties was heated by using single frequency method along with cavity perturbation theory. It is observed that H-N model can be used to describe the dielectric properties of cured DGEBA/DDS apoxy resins. It is also observed that in the reacting systems, the free volume is less and it is difficult to for dipolar groups to relax.
